🧾 For accounting firms
In every accounting firm there is someone who spends the day transcribing invoices by hand. AppAutocontador reads the invoice — however it arrives — and leaves it ready for your accounting software. The accountant reviews; they no longer transcribe.

Invoices arrive as PDFs, as WhatsApp photos or as DIAN XML files, and no two suppliers invoice the same way. Someone transcribes them field by field: tax ID, date, subtotal, VAT, withholdings, description. It is work that requires no accounting judgment — which is exactly why it stings that an accountant is doing it — and a typing error is invisible when it happens: it shows up weeks later, during reconciliation.
A supplier PDF, a photo taken with a phone, or a DIAN XML file. No renaming files, no sorting them, no forcing them into a template.
Tax ID, legal name, date, number, subtotal, VAT, withholdings and description. No per-supplier template: every invoice can look different and still be read.
What was extracted is reviewed on screen, not accepted blindly. Professional responsibility stays with the accountant; what disappears is the transcription.
Exports in the format Siigo, World Office and Helisa expect. No switching accounting systems and no migration.
I would rather say it before you try it. A product that promises everything is a product that will disappoint you in the first week.
Where it stands today
It has been running for a month with an accounting firm in Medellín. The ~94% accuracy is measured; the time saving of close to 80% is an estimate from that pilot, not a closed number. When the pilot ends, the final figure will be published — better or worse.
If your firm wants to join the pilot, it works the same as everything else here: first you see it running with your own invoices, then we talk price.
What accountants ask before trying it.
Yes. It reads the e-invoice XML directly, which is the cleanest case because the data already comes structured. It also reads the printable PDF and the photos clients send over WhatsApp, which is where the time is really lost.
It exports in the format Siigo, World Office and Helisa expect, the three most used in Colombia. There is no migration and no switching accounting systems: the output adapts to the one the firm already uses. If you use another, the format can be evaluated.
The accountant reviews and corrects before anything is booked: nothing enters the accounting software without passing under their eyes. When a field is missing or illegible, the system flags it instead of inventing a value, which is the dangerous behavior. Professional responsibility stays with the accountant.
There is no hourly rate and no deposit. It is quoted per project based on the firm’s invoice volume and what needs to be integrated, and always after you have seen the system working with your own invoices. If what you see does not solve your problem, you pay nothing.
Documents are processed to extract the data and stay under the firm’s control. They are not shared with third parties and are not used to train models. If your firm has specific data-handling requirements, they are defined before starting.
Send me ten invoices of the kind you normally receive and I will show you what it extracts from those same invoices. Nothing to install and nothing to sign for that first test.
